On CharitApp, whoever needs help can create an account and raise money. And whoever who wants to make a donation and help someone can do so.

Any organization (charitable, social, non-governmental, etc.) can create an Organization account to raise money for its institution. Organization accounts can also create Campaigns in order to raise money and bring awareness about specific goals, programs and/or communities being helped by the organization. In addition, it is possible to add Beneficiaries and raise money for them. Beneficiaries are people involved and depending on a specific Campaign. And money can be raised directly for them too.

There is no maximum amount that an Organization account can raise. For Campaigns and Beneficiaries, there is. Campaigns are limited to US $40’000 and Beneficiaries to US $120.

After the maximum amount possible for a Campaign is reached, or after 6 months have passed (from the validation of the Campaign), the account gets frozen. Forever. The same for Beneficiaries accounts; after the maximum amount possible is reached, or after 6 months have passed (from the validation of the related Campaign), the account gets frozen and donations are not possible anymore.
