On CharitApp, we implemented some rules. One of them implies that some accounts get frozen in specific occasions.
For Organization Accounts
Organizations can raise money with no limit of time, from the date of validation by the Admin. Also, there is no Maximum Amount limit, meaning that the Organization can raise as much as it can. However, Organization accounts will get “Admin-checked” every US $50’000. In other words, every US $50’000 received by an Organization, our team will need to verify the Organization account. In this procedure, the account might become frozen (no raising possible) for a short period of time.
Campaigns can raise a Maximum Amount of US $40’000, for a period of maximum 6 months from the initial Campaign Admin approval. After that time is over, the Campaigns get frozen forever. With the Beneficiaries: they can raise money up to US $120 each, and raising money through the specific Campaign gets frozen forever after the Campaign is over.
For Individual Accounts
Individual accounts can raise a Maximum Amount of US $120, for a period of 2 months from the date of the account’s validation by the Admin. After the Maximum Amount is reached, or after the 2 months have passed, the account gets frozen: it means the account is still online, but cannot receive donations anymore. The Indivudal account's holder will have to wait 2 months in order to be able to reactivate it again, and start raising money again.
Community Projects can raise a Maximum Amount of US $10'000, for a period of 6 months, from the date of validation by the Admin. After the Maximum Amount is reached, or after the 6 months have passed, the Community Project gets frozen: it means the project is still online, but cannot receive donations anymore. And it won’t be possible to reactivate it.
