We started thinking and planning CharitApp in 2016. It then took a few years to figure developp it and make it according to our needs and according to the points that were identified as important to make it useful and effective.
Security has been a central element throughout the development of the platform. Firstly, all payments are handled by Stripe. Then, we introduced several mechanisms to limit abuse and identity theft. The registration criteria are strict and verifications by our team are numerous. Finally, various algorithms have been introduced to be able to verify existing accounts, accounts being created as well as transactions.
We have very big ambitions and the primary objective is to be able to provide a completely free platform, which is not yet the case. For the future, we hope to be able to provide more services and improve interactions between users in order to simplify and make exchanges even more personal. We believe that bringing people together can really help to make people more responsible and united.
A platform like CharitApp requires a lot of fees and expenses. It is for this reason that we have decided to deduct minimal fees from certain accounts, namely those of organizations, in order to be able to meet the expenses incurred.
It is very important to clarify that the goal of CharitApp is not to enrich its leaders but to be able to offer a platform that contributes to making the world better and more equitable for all. These fees also allow us to remain independent rather than seeking investors who might impose a different philosophy.
You can help simply by sharing the platform and talking about CharitApp around you. The more people hear about it, the more the platform will be used, therefore becoming useful to people and organizations in need.
It is also possible that you are part of our ambassadors and help people around you, either by providing them with the services they need, or by creating a profile for them on CharitApp, thus allowing them to express their needs and receive help.
